Entries are now open for the Batemans Bay Regatta. The regatta will be held over 26-27 April at Batemans Bay Sailing Club.
The annual multiclass regatta has been going for over 30 years and is particularly popular with Canberra Sailors.
It is open to boats of all shapes and sizes including dinghies, catamarans and trailerable yachts. This year’s regatta will include the OK Dinghy NSW Championship and the Maricat National Championship.
The dinghies and catamarans are scheduled to sail two races each day over the weekend. While the trailerable yachts and sports boats will do two triangle races on the Saturday and a scenic long race around the Bay on Sunday. The OK Dinghy fleet will also be racing on Friday afternoon.
