I just sailed my first Weta event. I have noticed that my daggerboard is extremely loose in the trunk. I measured my blade against other boats at the regatta and found that my daggerboard is about 3/8 inch (1 CM)smaller in profile (fore and aft – same length) and 1/4 inch (65 MM) thinner than the older blades.
Has anyone encountered this problem? I’m not sure what is class legal in term of building up the inside of the trunk to get a better fit.
