Old Rudder Box change for Carbon new one

I have still my old original rudder box with original rudder blade.

can I use directly new carbon box, old rudder blade and bungees loops to hold it?

I think it should work as the rudder stock hasn’t changed – you may need to add a washer as a shim either side of the blade so it’s held securely.
