If you have lost your rudder pin, you can get them from Weta dealers. However, in an emergency, you may find it quicker to get one made or get some 8mm stainless steel rod from a local supplier and have them cut it to size then drill the holes for the pins on the top and bottom – or DIY.
Pin dimensions
Diameter 8mm
Length 208mm
Pin hole centre from top 8mm
Pin hole centre from bottom 10mm
Pin hole diameter 3mm
TIP: Never loose your pin again! Drill a small hole in the bung thumb tightner below the pin. Tie a pice of cord to the bung and tie the other end through the hole in the bottom of the pin or through a stainless steel ring inserted in the hole.
