Speedpuck ? Anyone interested in buying ??

Hi guys ive been looking at these for a while and think there a great tool to use for speed and ;ifts etc I was thinking i may import these and be a distributor down here first shipment i could do for $300.00 each if i can get 4 buyers i reckon anyone interested cheaper the more i get

well the order was placed today for 7  speedpucks  so in a week or 2 we will have them in our hot little hands , im looking forward to knowing how fast im actually sailing at  and  following my track on the pc after downloading the gps data

Hi guys just had a look at the velocitek site i can get them for $227.00 for 2 – 5 and $212  for  6 – 11, minimum is 2 at $227.00 plus what our freight is ! they are $375.00 in the shops so its a good saving and if ordered soon could have them for JB and ACT ?

Hmm – I think I’ll stick with the sailing Apps on my iPhone – like the free RaceQs (for tracking, replays and max speed) and $10 iRegatta (for speed, coutdown, bearings, SOG, courses and much more).

It requires a Lifeproof Waterproof cover for the phone and armband – around $100

Hi Glenn,

Sounds like an interesting idea. As a lake sailor these things are just a distraction really.
Maybe send an email around to all Oz owners. I think we are the only ones that look here!
