  Came across this very cheap (home built) speed display:

  Anyone up for building a couple….? I would have liked a Speedpuck but too expensive!!! This seems just right and useful to see highest VMG by an Oz Weta!
  I could do the breadboarding / build but am more than phased by the software.

  Came across a useful iPhone app: SydWinds. Check it out, not bad for $1.99. Includes info as far North as Newcastle, but does not include Pittwater, more’s the pity. There’s one for Melbourne and Brisbane.
